Will your adhesives work on Solid Surface, Quartz Surfaces and Granite?
The Nitro One Shot Stone and Quartz adhesives are designed to work on solid surface, quartz and natural stone.
The colors were developed to match a number of key quartz brands available in the US market. The wide range of color options also makes these adhesives an excellent choice for granite and natural stone installations.
If you have any specific questions, feel free to call your GranQuartz sales rep for advice!
How strong is your adhesive?
Our adhesives have been tested using industry standardized procedures and provide improved performance properties over most OEM adhesives.
What is the expected shelf life?
If properly stored – the adhesive has an estimated shelf life of one year. For best results, we recommend that you use the adhesive within 6 months of purchase. Please note that elevated temperatures will reduce the shelf life of any adhesive so try to keep your inventory stored under cool temperature. For optimum shelf life and performance, store adhesive upright away from direct sunlight in a cool area or fridge. Store between 50-70 F degrees for best results. Refrigerated adhesives may stay for up to two years.
What is the cure time for the adhesive?
Once applied, our standard adhesive gel time is approximately 10 minutes at 75F with a 20 minute snap time.
What if I don’t like the color match?
Our color matches are recommendations only and most of the time you will have great results. Occasionally, manufacturers’ color pallets shift, especially with veined or solid colors products, or just the subjective nature of what a good match is exists. It is always a good idea to double check the seam match on some scrap if you have any concerns. With more than 300 colors available, we can help you find the perfect match.
How can I get the cross-reference charts?
Please refer to the Color Chart section of our website to find the correct match.
